Clinical Expert, Founder’s Office

Help shape the clinical foundation of DiagnosAI.

DiagnosAI is building an AI-native clinical triage platform that helps hospitals and clinics collect better patient information, assess urgency, detect red flags, and generate structured summaries before the patient sees a doctor. We are currently building our first MVP around respiratory triage, with a long-term vision to expand across multiple disease areas and become a clinical intelligence layer for healthcare providers.

We are looking for a Clinical Expert, Founder’s Office, to work closely with the founder and help shape the medical, clinical, and workflow direction of the product.

Why this role matters

Healthcare AI cannot be built only with technology.

It needs clinical judgment, safety thinking, workflow understanding, and empathy for both patients and providers.

In this role, you will help ensure DiagnosAI is clinically meaningful, safe, practical, and aligned with real healthcare workflows.

What you will work on

You will help guide the clinical side of DiagnosAI, including:

Defining practical clinical triage workflows
Helping design symptom intake logic and medical questionnaires
Reviewing red-flag detection and escalation rules
Validating provider-ready summaries
Advising on clinical risks, safety boundaries, and limitations
Supporting early pilot conversations with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals
Helping shape the long-term clinical roadmap across multiple disease areas

You do not need to write code. The primary value of this role is clinical insight, medical judgment, and healthcare workflow expertise.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone interested in healthcare innovation and AI-native clinical workflows. Ideal background:

Physician, resident, medical student, clinician, nurse practitioner, or healthcare professional
Experience or strong interest in triage, primary care, emergency care, respiratory medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or digital health
Comfortable thinking about clinical safety, patient flow, and provider workflows
Interested in working closely with a technical founder
Open to contributing to an early-stage healthcare startup

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who believes AI can support clinicians and improve access to care, without replacing the human role in medicine.

What you bring

You should be able to help us answer questions like:

What information does a clinician need before seeing the patient?
Which symptoms or combinations should trigger urgent escalation?
How should an AI system communicate uncertainty safely?
What should never be automated?
How can we reduce waiting time without compromising clinical safety?
How can this fit naturally into hospital or clinic workflows?

What we offer

This is an early-stage strategic role within the Founder’s Office. You will have the opportunity to:

Work closely with the founder
Shape the clinical direction of the product
Help define the safety model and clinical workflow
Contribute to early validation and pilot discussions
Be involved in building a healthcare product from the ground up

Compensation, advisory structure, and equity participation can be discussed based on experience, commitment, and long-term alignment.

Our vision

We believe the future of healthcare will not be built by replacing doctors.

It will be built by helping clinicians make faster, safer, and better-informed decisions.

DiagnosAI aims to become the first layer between patients and healthcare providers, organizing symptoms, identifying urgency, and helping patients reach the right care faster.
